Growth Partner (Shopify & CRO)
About the role
DUMO is a Shopify Plus CRO agency for CPG and specialty food and beverage brands, helping national‑retailer‑shelf brands win online through custom Shopify builds, Klaviyo lifecycle marketing, and ongoing conversion rate optimization. We’re looking for someone who can talk strategy with brands, knows CRO and Shopify well enough to hold their own with a brand’s team, explain why a change matters, and keep projects moving. You’ll join the strategy team, work directly with the founders, and act as the strategic lead for the brands you support: running calls, digging into data, bringing ideas, and turning them into clear direction for the team. You’ll lead projects alongside a project manager, operating as a daily duo—you bring strategy and client relationship, they keep the build on track, and together you help the brands keep growing.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy conversations with brands on calls and in Slack, and turn them into clear direction for the team
- Dig into customer research and site data to find what’s holding each brand back online
- Help shape the CRO strategy for every brand we work with, and see your ideas go live on their stores
- Spot the next big growth opportunity for each brand, mid‑project and after launch
- Show brands what moved after launch and why
- Run every project day to day with your PM, from kickoff to launch
- Review Figma before a brand sees it and fix small Shopify issues
Requirements
- Real Shopify experience, front end and back end. You don’t need to be a developer, but you know your way around the admin
- A working understanding of CRO: why people buy, what gets in the way, how to test it
- Comfort in Figma
- Fluency with AI tools. You use ChatGPT or Claude to figure things out fast, and you know when not to
- You figure things out on your own. You don’t need hand‑holding
- Charisma. Brands should enjoy getting on a call with you
- You say what you think, even when it’s not what we want to hear
- Curiosity and a real interest in CPG, food and beverage
- You want to work for an emerging company and you’re flexible about what the job looks like week to week
- You’re based in the US and can work flexible hours
Qualifications
- CPG experience: you know the major US retailers, how brands win on shelf, and the brands winning in DTC right now
- Design, development, or copywriting experience
- Sales, management, or leadership experience
- Experience with Slack, Monday.com, Loom, Claude and Notion
