About the role
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven, and relationship-focused International Growth Lead to drive our global expansion efforts. This is a unique opportunity to identify new market opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and align our international initiatives with our overarching business objectives.
What you'll do
Develop & Execute Strategy:
- Design and implement a comprehensive international expansion strategy that aligns with overall corporate objectives.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities across diverse regions, assessing potential challenges and growth prospects.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to understand regional trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory environments.
- Develop actionable insights to adapt and refine our international strategy.
Partnership & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with key global stakeholders, including potential partners, distributors, and clients.
- Lead negotiations and establish strategic alliances, joint ventures, and distribution agreements.
- Represent the company at international industry events, trade shows, and business forums.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing international growth team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, finance, operations) to ensure seamless integration of international initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and accountability.
Financial Oversight & Performance Tracking:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs specific to international markets.
- Monitor performance metrics, evaluate ROI on international projects, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership regarding international business development progress.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of business development experience, with a focus on international markets.
- Proven success in launching and scaling operations in multiple geographies.
- Experience in negotiating and closing complex international deals.
