Growth Data & Insight Expert
About the role
ENGIE is seeking a Growth Data & Insight Expert to join the Digital & Business Development team as a single point of reference for business growth data. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous and versatile professional, capable of managing the entire data cycle independently, from implementing and modeling datasets to producing actionable insights for the business, leveraging existing company data infrastructure and AI as an efficiency lever.
The role will be based in Milan, within the Global Business Unit "Supply & Energy Management" (S&EM), which aims to support the development of new renewable assets and supply activities (both B2B and B2C). The ambition is to grow by 60% in electricity supply by 2030 and triple the volume of green electricity sold.
Responsibilities
- Manage and integrate data, building and maintaining datasets and data models to support growth activities, leveraging existing company data platforms and infrastructure
- Integrate and harmonize data from various sources (CRO, Media, CRM, web analytics) into a unified view
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data used for analysis
- Implement and monitor measurement logics (tracking, events, conversions)
- Transform cross-channel data into clear insights and operational recommendations for marketing and business teams
- Identify optimization opportunities along the entire growth funnel
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports focused on growth KPIs (CPA, ROAS, retention, LTV)
- Utilize AI generative tools to accelerate data analysis and report production
- Apply AI/predictive analysis techniques to high-value use cases (e.g., segmentation, propensity, anomaly detection)
Requirements
- Laurea in quantitative disciplines, computer science, statistics, economics, or related fields
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or marketing data roles
- Solid technical skills in data modeling and transformation (SQL, data modeling)
- Experience integrating data from CRO, Media, and CRM sources
- Proficiency in analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to translate complex data into insights and narratives for the business
- Autonomy, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple activities in parallel
- Good English language skills
- Knowledge of scripting languages for data manipulation (e.g., Python)
- Familiarity with AI generative tools applied to analysis
- Experience with data warehousing environments (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Background in growth-oriented or performance marketing contexts
Pay
The expected annual gross salary (RAL) for the role is between €40,000 and €54,000, based on experience and seniority level.
