Growth and Data Engineer

What you'll do
- Own our data foundation. Build and run the data lake and analytics stack that ties together all three products - MCP/CLI, SDK, and enterprise. You'll own Snowflake end to end: building pipelines, modeling clean generated tables, keeping the data trustworthy, and being the person who can answer the questions nobody else can.
- Turn behavior into decisions. Dig into how people actually use Composio, chase down the trickiest analytics questions, and translate what you find into roadmap calls - what to double down on, what to kill, and what deserves the next bet. This work directly guides where product invests.
- Build the product-led sales engine. Instrument our funnels and flag PLS signals into Snowflake so consumer and developer usage becomes a clean, agile handoff to sales. Connecting a prosumer's MCP usage or a developer's SDK adoption to the right enterprise conversation is core to how we grow.
- Ship growth features in the product. You're as comfortable in Next.js as in SQL. You'll build in-product upsells, sharpen onboarding and ship new onboarding flows, and drive in-app actions like booking a sales meeting - without ever making it feel bolted on. The experience stays delightful.
- Own activation and retention. Run email activation and reactivation campaigns, close funnel gaps, and take these problems from goal to shipped without waiting for a PM to turn them into tickets.
- Scope ruthlessly. Ship the narrow, signal-generating version today, read the data, then either kill the idea or build it properly.
- Work across the company. Partner with product, sales, marketing, and engineering to turn distribution ideas into shipped product.
What we're looking for
- Data fluency (non-negotiable). You write SQL fluently, are at home living in a warehouse like Snowflake, and can model data, stand up tracking, build dashboards, and reason clearly from messy funnel data. You're genuinely curious about user behavior and driven to answer the hardest questions. This is the heart of the role.
- Strong engineer. You ship polished frontend and backend systems and context-switch across codebases without losing speed. If your product-engineering chops are still catching up to your data ability, that's fine - we'd rather hire a great data mind who's hungry to round out the full stack than the reverse.
- Growth taste. You know the difference between a cheap experiment and a sloppy product, and you'd rather ship a narrow signal-generating version today than a perfect unknown next week.
- AI-native. You build with LLMs and keep up with what's happening in the ecosystem.
- Owner. You take a goal, decide what to build, ship it, measure whether it worked, and flex across all of the above.
- Human. You build trust and admit what you don't know.
- Strong preference for Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or a comparable warehouse) in production — modeling, pipelines, and performance
- Prior growth or product engineering at a startup
- Bonus points: You've built something that got real traction, a presence in the AI community through open source, writing, or building in public, Interest in owning performance marketing and media mix modeling — measuring and disentangling what's actually driving growth across channels
