Primary Purpose
Growing Well is an expansive and nurturing umbrella of programs designed to foster the holistic development of youth and families. Committed to creating a supportive environment for children in the High Country, Growing Well encompasses a range of empowering initiatives that inspire growth, resilience, and well-being. This role will serve as the full time medical provider for the Growing Well Clinic.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner or pediatric (PNP or PA).
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in developmental pediatrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical care based on Growing Well guidelines and protocols.
- Provide leadership for developmental screenings, assessments, and treatment planning and support and guide allied health providers involved in the care of children with or at risk for developmental delays.
- Oversee the high-risk infant follow-up program, ensuring timely developmental monitoring and intervention referrals.
- Ensure the use of evidence-based tools for screening and diagnosing autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, and other developmental conditions.
- Collaborate with therapists, family navigators, students, and social workers to ensure cohesive, family-centered care.
- Work with the Medical Director to maintain clinical protocols and quality standards for developmental services.
- Participate in strategic planning to expand and improve program offerings.
- Maintain knowledge in evidence-based practices related to Growing Well Clinic Protocols.
- Provide training and share resources to other professionals or programs as part of a potential state-wide expansion of Growing Well.
- Lead case conferences.

- Up to $125,000
Physical Demands of Position
