Grow Out Attendant- 1st shift

Job Summary

A 1st shift Grow Out Attendant position is available at Cooper Farms' Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio. The position involves working Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am-11:00am, Mondays from 7:00am to 3:00pm, and flexible other days to total 40 hours per week. Starting hourly rate is $17.30, with the potential to increase to $17.55 after 90 days. Additional pay includes monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses.

Shift Details

Saturday and Sunday: 7:00am-11:00am
Monday: 7:00am to 3:00pm
Flexible the rest of the week to equal 40 hours

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to work on feet for prolonged periods
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Functions

• Keep farm clean
• Maintain laundry
• Maintain supply inventory
• Monitor birds for signs of distress or disease
• Monitor littler quality, till and add shavings/straw as needed
• Maintain acceptable barn temperatures
