Group Therapist- Per Diem (Weekends)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.
• Assists law enforcement, family members and others with the admission process, both voluntary and involuntary.
• Makes referrals to community resources as appropriate.
• Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff.
• The therapist is expected to function as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization.
• Participates in continuous performance improvement activities.
• Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree Required
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of South Carolina
• 1-3 Years of Experience in a Clinical Mental Health Setting
• 3-5 years Preferred
