QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor Degree required, preferably in Social Work
• Licensure: LSW preferred
• Culturally competent knowledge of treatment planning, family systems, and group therapy
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families
• Experience in chemical dependency treatment
• Knowledge of children’s and family mental health system

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Provide professional clinical services, including, but not limited to:
• Development, implementation and management of curriculum
• Treatment planning
• Care coordination
• Case management
• Aftercare planning
• Crisis intervention
• Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner
• Educate and support Bluestone nursing staff with the planning, understanding, and facilitation of groups
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards
• Provides assistance and back up support to the inpatient social workers, Intake and other aspects of the inpatient program, as directed
