QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor Degree required, preferably in Social Work
- Licensure: LSW preferred
- Culturally competent knowledge of treatment planning, family systems, and group therapy
- Experience with children, adolescents, and families
- Experience in chemical dependency treatment
- Knowledge of children’s and family mental health system
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide professional clinical services, including, but not limited to:
- Development, implementation and management of curriculum
- Treatment planning
- Care coordination
- Case management
- Aftercare planning
- Crisis intervention
- Collaborate with other treatment team members regarding treatment planning, progress, and ongoing needs in a timely and consistent manner
- Educate and support Bluestone nursing staff with the planning, understanding, and facilitation of groups
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards
- Provides assistance and back up support to the inpatient social workers, Intake and other aspects of the inpatient program, as directed
