About the role
The Group Rooms Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of group room reservations, including monitoring and managing group room blocks within the resort's inventory. This role ensures group contractual obligations are met and serves as the primary point of communication for group contacts, Sales Managers, Conference Services Managers, Operational Departments, and the Director of Revenue Management regarding group room blocks.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of group room reservations and room blocks.
- Ensure group contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Communicate updates and changes related to group room blocks to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers, Conference Services Managers, and operational departments.
- Act as a team player, supporting colleagues as needed to promote teamwork.
Requirements
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable with computer systems and telephone communication.
- Ability to accept assignments on an as-needed basis.
