Responsibilities
- Teach small-group authentic Pilates on a Reformer, adhering to class guidelines
- Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class
- Monitor exercise intensity and modify for participants as needed
- Ensure classes are full, start and end on time, and are taught regularly with minimal subbing
- Communicate with management on member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and subbing
Requirements
- Completion of a Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program or certification on all Pilates apparatus (mat, reformer, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, high/combo chair, barrels)
- Minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education through a certification program
- Valid copy of Pilates certification(s)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience teaching Pilates classes
- Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality
- Regular access to email and phone communication
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, squat, bend, reach, push, pull, and safely spot/correct clients during sessions
