About the role
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Group Quality and Improvement Advisor to join our ESG team.
Responsibilities
- Delivering value added auditing to multiple standards across site and office processes including internal governance policies and processes, and customer requirements.
- Assisting Operations Teams with external audits such as ISO, Achilles, Constructionline, Customer etc.
- Leading local IMS Management Reviews with Depot/Operations Managers
- Collaborating with the ESG Team on Business Line IMS Management Reviews, ensuring that local issues are raised with the Business Line Directors and addressed.
- Driving value protection by monitoring legislation and regulations regarding H&S and environmental issues
- Driving value creation by identifying opportunities for improvement
- Providing guidance and advice to the business on how they can improve ESG performance and deliver organisational resilience
- Identifying emerging ESG trends, risks and opportunities, both internally and externally
- Collaborating with the supply chain to deliver value protection and value creation opportunities.
- Liaising with customers and other external stakeholders on ESG and management system matters.
- Challenging, questioning and improving policies, processes and practices to ensure alignment with the business strategy and new ways of working.
- Monitoring progress on initiatives ensuring sharing of learnings.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the Group to develop and implement optimal solutions, efficiencies and profitability.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK unsponsored
- ISO Lead Auditor (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, O365)
- Site Managers Safety Training Scheme
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or other improvement methods
- Experience in project coordination
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- IEMA Construction Environmental Management
- IRCA Lead Auditor (ISO9001 or similar)
- Traffic Management background

Schedule
37.5 – Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm, with occasional night work.
