About the role
Lead and coach a small team of product managers, providing guidance and frameworks to elevate their output, professional growth, and strategic thinking. Define and drive the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for Core TPA Claims, identifying major new product opportunities aligned with long-term goals.
What you'll do
- Manage and mentor a small team of product managers, providing the guidance and frameworks necessary to elevate their output, professional growth, and strategic thinking
- Participate in defining and driving the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for Core TPA Claims, identifying major new product opportunities that align with Collective Health's long-term goals
- Partner with design, engineering, data science, and analytics teams to ensure features are delivered with high quality, scalability, and efficiency
- Own the strategy for our proprietary claims processing engine, ensuring high-fidelity adjudication, payment integrity, and seamless integration across the healthcare ecosystem
- Enable deep connections between engineering, UX, sales, marketing, operations, and client success to ensure buy-in for complex initiatives and surface critical market insights
- Establish and refine product best practices for the broader organization, ensuring your team has well-defined metrics and the support needed to execute with excellence
- Proactively solve complex architectural and business problems alongside your PMs to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and scalable healthcare products
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of product management experience in healthcare technology, with a well-established track record of executing on major product opportunities
- Demonstrated people management skills, including prior experience in direct management, team leadership, or significant mentoring of senior-level PMs
- Deep domain expertise in Healthcare Claims End-to-End processing, including a nuanced understanding of adjudication, repricing, routing, TPA cost-containment initiatives, and payments
- Strong Healthcare EDI Experience with an emphasis on X12 Claim (837) and Remittance (835) Transactions and related Healthcare data exchange between trading patterns
- Expert communication skills, with the ability to navigate executive-level discussions and represent Collective Health as a subject matter expert to external audiences
- Analytic Rigor: Deep expertise in managing and analyzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights and define success metrics
- Navigating Complexity: The ability to thrive in highly regulated environments (HIPAA, ERISA, etc.) while maintaining the agility to innovate
- Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Pay
- San Francisco, CA: $172,500 - $215,625 USD
- Lehi, UT: $138,000 - $172,500 USD
- Plano, TX: $151,800 - $189,750 USD
Schedule
This is a hybrid position based out of one of our offices: San Francisco, CA, Plano, TX, or Lehi, UT. Hybrid employees are expected to be in the office two days per week.
