Group Manager

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage our Tampa office. As the Group Manager, you will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the branch. Responsibilities Requires a commitment to lead and mentor a team of geotechnical and construction materials engineers and project managersOversee and manage all laboratory operationsOversee projects and perform technical report reviews, prepare proposals and management of the departments and group related P&LAssist other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactionsInteract with senior staff members and mentor junior staff membersAssist with recruiting and maintaining an adequate staff level in your group Required Qualifications 8 years of related experienceBachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college/universityIf driving for, or on behalf of, any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver’s license is requiredProficient with geotechnical principles and applicationsHave practical experience in conducting laboratory testing, construction observation, and field quality assurance testingExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong project management and marketing skillsMust possess leadership qualifications and be business development oriented Military Qualifications The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education, certification, and licenses requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications":E-6/E-7/O-2/O-3 ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
