Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding care to all clients by assisting with personal care, medical care, and daily living skills.
- Develop meaningful relationships with all Direct Care Staff and build retention strategies to support staff members.
- Support Group Home Manager by participating in Group Home administration duties, such as assisting with financial statements, maintaining medical equipment, and assisting with client doctor appointments.
- Maintain availability to assist with after-hours support and call-ins.
- Support both our clients by providing direct care, including assisting with personal hygiene and hands-on care, and our direct care staff by assisting with the day-to-day operations within the group home.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities or a degree or certificate in a related field.
- Strengths: Organized, excellent communicator, strong leadership skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
