Non-seasonal, part-time, non-benefitted staff position with flexible scheduling including early mornings, weekdays, and weekends based on program needs and instructor availability.
Pay
$21–$25 per class, depending on experience. All part-time employees receive a $20 premium family membership with employment.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Current AFAA, NASM, ACE, or similar certification required.
- Current Pilates certification or training.
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/First-Aid/AED certification or completion of certification within 30 days of hire.
- Approved Criminal Background Investigation check if over 18 years of age.
- Previous experience teaching group fitness is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, safe, and effective Pilates classes for participants of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels.
- Demonstrate exercises and provide clear instruction, motivation, and modifications to meet individual needs.
- Create an inclusive and positive environment that encourages participation and supports healthy lifestyles.
- Monitor participants and respond appropriately to safety concerns, injuries, or emergencies.
- Prepare and maintain fitness spaces and equipment before and after classes.
