Group Fitness Instructor (Featured Job)

About the role

We are looking for a Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about becoming a part of our club members' fitness journey and providing a great group fitness class experience.

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will deliver a superior group exercise class and fitness experience. You will get to know our members and become a part of their journey to ensure that their class experience and fitness expectations are met. This position is pivotal in allowing Crunch to achieve our vision “to be the best place to work, and workout.”

Responsibilities

• Deliver motivational instruction during the member Class-ic Group Fitness experience
• Help members achieve their goals on their fitness journey
• Respond with care to any member issues concerning group fitness classes
• Assist with accurately tracking class attendance numbers
• Participate and be engaged with weekly emails and monthly ZOOMs
• Attend the quarterly staff meeting for onsite training and new quarter class roll out
• Be involved with the instructor portal and social media for any updates and brand promotions

What success looks like

• Delivers high-energy, inclusive classes members love, consistently hitting format standards while adding personal flair to boost attendance and retention
• Builds genuine member relationships—learning names, goals, and preferences—to keep them motivated and connected to their fitness journey
• Creates a fun, professional experience from warm-up to cool-down, showing up prepared/on-time and owning performance every class
• Communicates reliably with leadership, supports club culture through teamwork, and continuously grows via trainings while embodying the Undefeated Tribe values

Requirements

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels required (e.g., bootcamp-based classes, Kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, Sculpt, Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, POUND, and HIIT)
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred)
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• Ability to provide a high-energy class environment
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Physical effort required for daily duties includes prolonged standing and walking
