Group Fitness Instructor

We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to teach at a high-profile company's fitness center in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Develop effective, engaging, and motivating class formats with fun and appropriate playlists. Build class attendance and offer alternative movements to accommodate all fitness levels. Opportunity to provide class coverage at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and motivating group fitness classes.
• Develop effective class formats with appropriate playlists.
• Build class attendance and accommodate all fitness levels with alternative movements.
• Provide class coverage at multiple locations as needed.
• Network, engage, and interact professionally with clients, guests, and participants.
• Communicate effectively using appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
• Engage participants as a public speaker.

Requirements

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate (e.g., Zumba® license).
• Current CPR/AED certification (no online certifications accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, or related fields.
• Strong customer service skills to network and engage with clients.
• Professional communication skills.
• Competency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $75, based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and business needs.
