Group Fitness Instructor
About the role
We are currently seeking an energetic, reliable and passionate Group Fitness Instructor to teach at a high profile company's fitness center located in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will develop effective, engaging, and motivating class formats accompanied by fun and appropriate playlists, and have a passion for client results by building class attendance and offering alternative movements to accommodate all levels of fitness.
Responsibilities
The Group Fitness Instructor will have the opportunity to provide class coverage at multiple locations and will be responsible for communicating professionally with clients, guests, and participants.
Requirements
- Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate, specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, etc.)
- Current CPR /AED certification (no online CPR/AED certification accepted)
- Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
- Knowledgeable about the industry with customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants
- Ability to effectively engage participants as a public speaker
- Competent with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

Pay
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $75. Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
