About the role
The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading fitness classes at our community center. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in group fitness instruction and a valid first aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute high-energy fitness classes that cater to various fitness levels.
- Ensure all participants are following proper form and safety guidelines during exercises.
- Communicate effectively with participants to provide motivation and feedback.
- Adapt class content based on participant feedback and preferences.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in group fitness instruction.
- A valid first aid certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Knowledge of various fitness techniques and equipment.
- Experience with adult fitness programming.
