About the role
D1 Novi is a state-of-the-art athletic-based training facility serving youth (ages 7+), adults, and teams. Our mission is to empower every athlete to reach their goals through expert coaching, proven programming, and an unmatched training environment. Responsibilities
- Exhibit passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
- Start and finish workouts on time
- Assess and align each member with the proper program
- Build and maintain relationships with each D1 member
- Coach group workouts, personal training, and teams
- Deliver accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
- Teach proper form and technique and keep all our athletes safe
- Create a positive, high-performance environment for all athletes
- Coach group workouts, personal training sessions, and teams
- Modify and adapt movements to suit individual needs and goals
- Assess and align each athlete with the proper program
- Deliver expert guidance on strength, speed, and nutrition
- Teach proper form and technique to reduce injury risk
- Build strong relationships and maintain regular contact with athletes
- Support athletes of all backgrounds, including youth, adults, and female athletes
Requirements
- Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
- Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA
- Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting
- Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred)

- A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams
Skills
