Position Overview

The Group Facilitator-Coach is responsible for delivering psychoeducation and specialty groups in accordance with the RCA Care Model. The curriculum and training will be provided to ensure quality and consistency in delivery. The Group Facilitator-Coach must provide and support patient skills through coaching, promoting sustained engagement in treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure groups are delivered professionally and effectively to meet desired learning objectives.
  • Carry out RCA Care Model with fidelity.
  • Escalate concerns to treatment team to promote patient safety and engagement.
  • Engage with the recovery community in a culturally competent way, in and outside of the group setting.
  • Complete group notes and all other documentation as assigned.
  • Attend trainings and acquire skills needed to support evidence-based models.
  • Perform cross training for RSS role and support RSS needs as they arise or as directed.
  • Attend staff meetings and trainings as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associates degree, or minimum State Requirements for education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
