Position Summary
As a Group Facilitator, you will provide therapeutic treatment using evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment methods. This includes facilitating scheduled groups and documenting sessions in our EMR. You will also maintain all applicable licenses and certifications and comply with state and regulatory requirements.
Essential Job Functions
- Collaborate with Clinical Director and/or Program Director to develop a comprehensive therapy program.
- Deliver appropriate topics to scheduled groups.
- Complete group notes immediately after each session.
- Document all services provided in clients' medical records.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, DSS, DHCS, and Joint Commission standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely client charts in compliance with clinical guidelines.
- Participate in staff meetings to provide training on therapeutic services and mental health topics.
- Meet with clients individually for support as needed.
Knowledge, Education, Experience
- Licensed or certified CADAC in the state where employed.
- Maintain license and certification in good standing according to state law.
