JOB SUMMARY
The Group Exercise/Personal Trainer at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for providing a great Wellness Center experience for members by leading safe and engaging group fitness classes. This role requires CPR certification and engages strong wellness knowledge and excellent communication skills to provide high quality customer service, manage group fitness classes effectively, and motivate Wellness Center members to engage and enjoy the Wellness Center experience.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ensures excellent customer service by providing quality group exercise classes to the members.
- Takes responsibility for the safety, security and well-being of class members.
- Possesses ability to identify and handle emergencies.
- Maintains updated, proficient teaching skills that are motivating, challenging, safe and enjoyable.
- Supports other coworkers by attending their classes and substituting when possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Licenses and Certifications: BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 Days, AED Certification within 90 Days, National Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Certification upon hire
- Work Experience: Teaching experience preferred
