Group Exercise Instructor

Part-time opportunity for Group Exercise Instructors to lead Step and/or Pilates classes at the Lake Community YMCA on weekday mornings.

Pay

Starting rate: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• CPR and AED certification preferred (will be provided if needed)
• Certification from a nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
• Able to teach multiple formats (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet members with enthusiasm
• Design class formats appropriate for the type of class and participants
• Serve as a positive role model
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Address difficult situations using YMCA Character Values as a guide
