Group Exercise Instructor

About the role

Part-time Group Exercise Instructors to teach a variety of weekday morning classes, such as Pilates, Senior Fitness, Step, and Parkinson’s.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm
• Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants
• Serve as a good role model
• Communicate with team members
• Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide

Qualifications

• Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• CPR and AED certification preferred, but will provide
• Certification from a nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
• Able to teach multiple formats, preferred

Pay

Starting rate $11.00 – $16.00
