Essential Functions
- Lead high quality classes that match the class description, and meet members’ needs.
- Able to program, deliver and adapt based on the class participants
- Must find a sub if unable to teach a scheduled class; willing and available to sub for other instructors when needed
- Attend any department meetings, read and respond to all e-mail communications in a timely manner
- Arrive to class early to set up equipment and room, check in participants, and clean up afterwards
- Establish relationships with participants to build class participation.
- Maintain a minimum average of 8 participants per class
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education And Experience
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Maintain a current Group Exercise Instructor Certification from ACE, AFFA or AEA
- Maintain a current CPR Certification
- Minimum of two years teaching experience
