About the role
The Group Exercise Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing group fitness classes at our state-of-the-art health club. This individual will oversee the smooth operation of classes, ensuring that all participants are engaged and safe.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute high-quality group fitness classes, including warm-ups, exercises, and cool-downs.
- Ensure all participants are following proper form and safety guidelines during classes.
- Oversee class schedules and manage instructor assignments.
- Communicate effectively with participants and staff to maintain a positive environment.
- Assist in marketing and promoting group fitness programs.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in group fitness instruction.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Knowledge of various exercise modalities and ability to adapt classes to different skill levels.
- Experience with scheduling and managing multiple classes.
Skills
- Effective communication and public speaking skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage participants.
- Proficiency in using fitness software and equipment.

Pay
$X per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
