Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership: Work with Private Banking team to develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans (insurance, retirement, estate, tax strategy, risk management, philanthropy)
- Translate Complex Concepts: Serve as investment planning resource for private banking teams
- Review and Interpret: Review and interpret investment strategy in coordination with portfolio managers (not product sales)
- Product & Service Innovation: Monitor and update plans based on life events, regulatory changes, and market conditions
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Support client acquisition and retention through planning expertise
- Planning Standards: Contribute to planning standards, tools, and best practices across the division
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze business performance metrics, ensuring delivery of growth targets and identifying areas for improvement
Performance Monitoring
- Ensure proposed solutions fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short, medium and long term through a holistic goals-based planning approach
Risk Management and Compliance
- Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures
Additional Accountabilities
- Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required
- Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings
Job Requirements
- Required Qualifications: Education level required: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent), Minimum experience required: 10+ Years, Series 7, 66 licenses required for position
- Preferred Qualifications: Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) with a major in Finance or Business, Fifteen plus years of work experience in Private Banking or Financial Services, Bachelor’s Degree required, Proven sales success and strong business acumen, Strong community presence with an established network, Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts, Focuses on the client experience and works tirelessly on the client’s behalf
