Group Class Instructor(flexible, as-needed)
About the role
HealthFitness is looking for on-call/substitute (number of hours working depends on demand and scheduling) Group Class Instructors to join the fitness team at our client site located in Alexandria, VA!
Responsibilities
- Provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as Yoga, Pilates, Strength, Dance, and/or Cycle.
Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
- Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
- 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Qualifications
Competitive pay range is $30/hr - $40/hr. Final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
