About the role
Groundworker position located at HMP Garth & Wymott, Ulnes Walton Lane, Leyland, Preston, Lancashire, PR26 8LW. Work is performed in person.
Duties
- Carry out general groundworks activities including drainage, excavations, concreting and finishing works
- Install mains drainage systems and associated utilities
- Work from drawings and site plans to complete works safely and accurately
- Assist with excavation works and temporary excavation support systems
- Establish and maintain safe working areas in line with site requirements
- Support other construction activities as required
Pay
£17.80 - £21.90 per hour (depending on experience)
Experience/Skills Required
- Proven groundworks experience
- Valid CSCS Card
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
