Groundworker

About the role

Groundworker position located at HMP Garth & Wymott, Ulnes Walton Lane, Leyland, Preston, Lancashire, PR26 8LW. Work is performed in person.

Duties

• Carry out general groundworks activities including drainage, excavations, concreting and finishing works
• Install mains drainage systems and associated utilities
• Work from drawings and site plans to complete works safely and accurately
• Assist with excavation works and temporary excavation support systems
• Establish and maintain safe working areas in line with site requirements
• Support other construction activities as required

Pay

£17.80 - £21.90 per hour (depending on experience)

Experience/Skills Required

• Proven groundworks experience
• Valid CSCS Card
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements
