About the role
The AmeriCorps Groundwork Fellow role helps Minnesota nonprofits and government agencies serve young people more effectively. Groundwork Fellows help build the capacity of youth-serving organizations that address educational barriers and engage youth as agents of change.
Member Duties
- Continue to implement strategies to enhance the organization's capacity to serve the community effectively.
- Support initiatives that engage youth as agents of change within their communities.
- Aid in developing systems, tools, and practices to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with host site staff and community partners to better address community needs.
- Support data collection and evaluation efforts to measure program outcomes and impact.
- Maintain program processes, reports, and materials to ensure program sustainability.
- Demonstrate initiative in leading opportunities for program development and improvement.
- Adhere to the Groundwork Fellow project proposal developed by the host site supervisor.
