Groundskeeper/ Porter
Your Role
As a Groundskeeper at Independence in Dixon, you'll play a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, safety, and much more for our community. Your attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellent service will help create a welcoming environment for residents and guests alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain community grounds including walkways, parking lots, and common areas
- Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, blowing, pressure washing, and trash removal
- Clean outdoor furniture, fixtures, and assigned maintenance areas
- Report any safety concerns or maintenance needs to the appropriate team members
- Provide courteous, helpful customer service to residents and guests
- Support the maintenance team with additional tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivatedPrevious groundskeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work outdoors and perform physical labor in all weather conditionsMust be available to work weekends (days off: Thursday and Friday)Valid driver’s license preferredMust pass a background check and drug screening
