Groundskeeper N1-Montoya Campus

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform snow removal on snow days.
• Clearing walkways and driveways around the campus.
• Establishing a safe environment for faculty, staff, and students.
• Knowledge of operating motorized equipment such as mowers, line trimmer, edger, hedger, chainsaw, thatcher, aerator, and leaf blower.
• Knowledge of tractor and skid steer.
• Knowledge of irrigation controls, irrigation systems, and irrigation repairs.
• Trimming around sidewalks, flower beds, and walkways.
• Trimming and pruning trees and shrubs.
• Clearing leaves and debris throughout the campus.
• Mixing and applying fertilizer, herbicides, insecticides, and two cycle gas mix in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Maintain bleachers, picnic tables, and other surfaces, to include graffiti removal around the campus.
• Participate in team projects and other related duties of a similar nature and level at all CNM campuses.

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience preferred.
