GROUNDSKEEPER (FULL TIME)

About the role

SSC is hiring a full-time GROUNDSKEEPER at Murray State University located at 615 Gilbert Graves Drive, Murray, KY 42071. Other openings are available within the school district.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service by attending to details.
• Inspects common areas and reports deficiencies to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Inspects exterior of the property and grounds; reports deficiencies to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Mows lawns weekly during the proper season.
• Cleans landscaping tools and equipment after each use.
• Trims bushes to maintain neat appearance and desired shape.
• Weeds flowerbeds weekly or more often if needed.
• Shovels exterior walkways during wintery weather; salts or sands icy walkways as needed.
• Contributes to the team; facilitates good customer interactions; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior groundskeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.

Pay

$13.00 per hour to $13.50 per hour.

Schedule

Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
