Responsibilities
- Apply skills to ensure Person Centered Care as exhibited through our Pillars of Excellence: PEOPLE, STEWARDSHIP, SERVICE, QUALITY, GROWTH
- Trim shrubs, bushes, ornamental trees in planting areas around the Main Building, in accordance with accepted horticultural standards
- Plant and water flowers around Main Building in accordance with the grower’s recommendations
- Weed, cultivate and maintain planting beds around the Main Building on a weekly basis
- Water existing turf areas, as well as newly seeded and sod areas around entire campus in accordance with the specific grass species requirements
- Pick-up and dispose of papers, leaves, sticks and limbs from curbs, gutters and storm inlets on daily basis
- Conduct general pick-up and policing of campus grounds to preserve the aesthetic appearance of the property on a daily basis
- Participate in the removal of snow and ice and application of salt to roads and walks
- Clean cottage gutters in a safe and expeditious manner
- Assist in the assembly and relocation of furniture and equipment in a safe and expeditious manner and per manufacturer’s recommendations
- Set-up and breakdown of furniture and equipment for meetings and special events in a safe and expeditious manner
- Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all Plymouth Place policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings
- Attend in-service and education programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Must be at least 18 years old
Skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity of building and grounds aesthetic for a facility
- Knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools and other power equipment per manufacturer’s recommendations and in accordance with the safety program
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, families, and employees

Tuesday - Saturday: 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Pay
$21.37 per hour
