Groundskeeper

Purpose Of This Position

Maintains and cares for hospital grounds and performs general outside maintenance duties.

General Information

• Pick up litter in parking lots, around buildings and other assigned areas.
• Assists in keeping flower beds sprinkled and minor landscaping projects when needed.
• Empties trash cans outside of buildings (in assigned areas).
• Keeps all assigned equipment clean and in working condition.
• Assists in keeping assigned vehicles clean.
• Responsible for power washing/scrubbing assigned areas.
• Affords assistance in special projects per Administration.
• Delivers materials when needed.

Compliance

• Complies with the policies and procedures of the Willis Knighton Health Code of Conduct and service quality standards.
• Ensures adherence to patient safety and quality initiatives as appropriate for job description.
• Adheres to WKH policy regarding transmission-based precautions.
