Groundskeeper

Maintenance

• Mowing, trimming, and blowing of all turf areas.
• Planting, weeding, mulching all flower beds.
• Sweeping or blowing of roadside, walkways, parking lots, and tennis courts.
• Edging of walkways, flowerbeds, and curbs.
• Operating and maintaining utility vehicles and equipment.
• Delivering "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
• Establishing cross-departmental communication channels.

Additional Duties

• Using common grounds maintenance power tools and hand tools.
• Power washing hardscape areas.
• Aids in irrigation system repairs and maintenance.
• Daily shop upkeep and cleanliness.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
• Interface positively with other departments.
• Display care for equipment and maintain a professional work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum knowledge and skills in clerical, service, or manual areas.
• Previous grounds maintenance experience is valued but not required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CPR Certification.
• Food Protection Manager Certification.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Alcohol Server/Seller Certification.

Personal Contact Communications

• Daily – Pre-shift meetings and stand-ups.
• Occasionally – One-on-one coaching sessions.

Teamwork and Collaboration

• This position requires continuous teamwork and internal/cross-departmental communication.

Environmental Factors

• Indoor setting with overhead lighting and comfortable ventilation.
• May occasionally work in inclement weather.
