Grounds Maintenance Laborer

Essential Functions

• Pick up trash and or debris daily around Gila Bend AFAF
• Operate gas powered equipment to maintain lawns, trees, Palm trees, and brush (riding lawn mowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, chain saws, edger’s, and etc.)
• Remove weeds from rock and plant areas on base
• Patch asphalt roads, crack seal roads, and minor repairs to concrete walkways and drive ways
• Repair and or replace sprinklers, and PVC irrigation lines

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and or equivalent
• At least one plus years of prior grounds maintenance experience
• Obtain and maintain a government security clearance
