Successful experience or demonstrated commitment toward working with culturally and racially diverse students, families, and communities
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others, personally or through other means of communication (phone, email, and radio)
Ability to work using ladders, scaffolding, mechanical lifts, and district vehicles
Ability to spend most of the workday standing, lifting, and walking
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds or more and move heavy materials using appropriate equipment
Current WISHA-approved first aid certification
Ability to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions, requiring concentration and accuracy
Proven ability to identify and resolve problems independently and in a timely manner
Strong decision-making skills with sound and accurate judgment
Strong relationship-building skills to work with staff, community partners, and vendors
Ability to work with minimal direction and use sound judgment
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure, and remain flexible
Ability to meet and maintain punctuality and attendance expectations

Physical demands include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects
Occasional work in outside weather conditions
Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
Potential exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials
Moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment
Prolonged exposure to visual display terminals as required
