Grounds Equipment Operator

About the role

Operate and maintain the club’s turf-care and landscaping equipment to ensure the golf course and grounds remain in championship condition.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowers, tractors, aerators, top-dressers, sprayers, and hand-held tools.
• Perform daily pre-operation safety checks and routine maintenance (fueling, sharpening, greasing, cleaning).
• Assist with bunker raking, divot repair, leaf blowing, and other course-detail work.
• Load, transport, and unload equipment and materials safely.
• Follow all club safety protocols and report hazards or equipment issues immediately.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating turf or agricultural equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and bend/kneel repeatedly.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends/holidays as needed.
