Grounds Crew

About the role

The Grounds Crew member is responsible for maintaining the grounds, including mowing, trimming, clearing, planting, pruning, applying chemicals, and operating various pieces of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mows, trims, and edges grounds
• Clears land
• Plants grass, trees, shrubs, and flower beds
• Prunes shrubs, trees, and evergreens
• Applies insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
• Removes leaves and litter from grounds
• Repairs fences, gates, walls
• Operates lawn mowers, snow blowers, chain saw, leaf blowers, tractor, back hoe, skid steer, and other associated equipment as properly trained
• Auxiliary work as needed

Requirements

• Solid experience with plant and turf care, grounds maintenance, and landscaping equipment
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations
• Leadership, time management, initiative, attention to detail, and safety orientation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a background check

Pay

$18.34 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:00p
