Groundman-Roane Co. Quarry
Responsibilities
- General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assist with plant clean up and operations
- Being trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times
- Reporting equipment problems and identifying them to management
- Performing light maintenance work and maintaining the belt lines
- Completing equipment pre-shift report – if applicable
- Aiding other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment
- Ability to maintain safe working conditions
- Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision
- Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned
- Able to learn quickly
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime
