About the role
We are seeking a GSE Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting and repairing ground equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and transmission systems.
Responsibilities
- Repair FMC container loaders
- Maintain and repair ground power units
- Service fuel hydrants and tanker trucks
- Perform maintenance on forklifts
- Overhaul automatic transmissions
Requirements
- Minimum of one year in automotive or related fields
- Experience with electrical repairs
- Experience with hydraulic repairs
- Experience with transmission repairs
- General welding knowledge
- Auto body and paint experience
- Diesel engine knowledge
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend and reach
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance
- Ability to obtain a SIDA badge
- Compliance with DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Technical trade school training
- HAZMAT knowledge
