THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Level 4 ground Software Engineer with an active Final Top Secret security clearance to work from either our King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO location(s).

This position is contingent upon the program award expected in July, 2026. We are looking for software engineers to craft and build innovative solutions for our customers. You will be part of an Agile team that utilizes state of the art commercial standard methodologies such as DevSecOps (automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, etc.) and modern development tools. You will participate in progressing system capabilities from early design through site acceptance focused on software reuse, COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices.

As Ground Software Engineer
Development of innovative enterprise, Cloud based solutions for mission management and command and control
You will design, implement, test, and maintain object-oriented ground system software applications using Java, Angular, Python
You will support modernization efforts geared toward achieving greater efficiency, security, automation and scalability
You will collaborate with an enthusiastic team of software, systems, and test engineers using the Agile Development methodology

Selected candidates will be required to possess Active Top Secret with adjudicated SCI eligibility (i.e. TS/SCI) prior to starting employment. This is an MID-SR CAREER (level 4) ROLE where candidates typically require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
