Responsibilities
- Operate ground penetrating radar equipment to perform subsurface analysis in various environments such as construction sites, busy roadways, buildings, and near utilities.
- Collect, process, and interpret GPR data to identify subsurface structures such as pipes, cables, and geological features.
- Prepare sites for GPR surveys.
- Provide clear results, in writing and verbally, to clients, project managers, and other field staff.
- Follow industry regulations to ensure safe operation of equipment in the field.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with applicable technical training or certifications.
- Previous experience and familiarity operating GPR systems is desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment when needed.
- Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented when interpreting radar data and generating reports.
- At least 2 years of experience in concrete ground penetrating radar scanning.
- OSHA 10 certification, with 30 preferred (for leadman positions).
