About the role

We are seeking a motivated, hands‑on leader with at least two years of experience in a fast‑paced environment such as logistics, retail, or operations. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic settings, communicates clearly, prioritizes safety, and leads by example. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and across multiple sites. As our Ground Operations Lead, you’ll be the bridge between ground operations and flight, ensuring every package is prepped with precision and every drone is ready for departure.

Responsibilities

• Manage the onsite team and daily delivery operations.
• Coordinate the team for accurate order preparation, site readiness, and safety compliance.
• Act as the primary lead for people management and operational problem‑solving.
• Interpret KPIs and performance metrics to drive daily operational excellence.
• Oversee morning setup, ensure the operational area is clean and safe, and inspect equipment functionality.
• Direct workflow for efficient order processing, conduct quality control (weight/accuracy), and supervise package loading onto aircraft.
• Supervise a small team, manage staff scheduling, and provide training/coaching on procedures.
• Lead site safety, conduct daily inventory counts, and manage incident resolution.
• Act as the team liaison to regional management, provide site performance updates, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive between sites.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Must be able to lift 35 lb and push a 160 lb cart up a ramp.
• Successful completion of local training.
• Availability between 6 AM and 10 PM, 7 days/week (maximum 40 hours/week).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast‑paced setting (logistics, retail, operations).
• Strong communication and operational skills with attention to safety details.
• Experience managing an onsite team and daily delivery operations (preferred).
• Experience leading or carrying out accurate order preparation, site readiness, and safety compliance.
• Flexibility, physical stamina, and ability to work both independently and across multiple sites.

Pay

$26 – $28 per hour.

Schedule

Rotating shifts. Availability required between 6 AM and 10 PM, 7 days/week (maximum 40 hours per week).
