Ground Hand

About the role

A Groundhand is required to perform heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks, which are generally semi-skilled in nature. Duties will vary depending on the types of work assigned to the crew.

Responsibilities

• Haul brush and wood from the tree to the truck.
• Assist the tree climber using ropes, various hand and power tools.
• Clean the job site.
• Work with takedown crews to ensure good communication between the crew.
• Function as a member of a tree crew while progressively learning new skills.
• Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment as needed on the jobsite.
• Maintain issued personal gear, crew gear, and equipment.

Requirements

• Must have a Driver license or state issued ID and social security card.
