About The Job
Members of the Ground Crew prepare and load chemicals into aircraft. This role is with Diversified Applications, Inc. (DAI), our aerial application business. DAI aims to lead the agricultural aviation industry by expanding its fleet of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Blends and loads all chemical mixes prior to each load/flight.
- Maintains a clean aircraft.
- Maintains general awareness of inventory levels and fuel levels for the leader.
- Maintains cleanliness in hanger/loadout areas.
- Drives batch trucks within Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and California.
- Loads helicopters.
- Very early mornings are often required.
- Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned by your leader.
Education & Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A Class B CDL with tanker endorsement is required.
- Ability to drive a manual truck.
- A hazmat endorsement is preferred.
Skills & Qualifications
- Customer service-oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Read, write, and speak in English is required.
- Spanish communication is valued.
- A valid U.S. driver's license is required to drive a company vehicle.
- Successful completion of a drug test and background check is required for all positions at Helena.

- The position requires using hands for many tasks, talking, hearing, walking, sitting, standing (up to 8 hours a day), lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to 50 lbs), reaching overhead, climbing, gripping, grasping, twisting, bending, stooping, and working above and below shoulder levels.
