Job Functions, Duties, Responsibilities
- Embed and prepare slides for routine H & E and special stain procedures
- Document scheduled preventative maintenance
- Identify and address troubleshooting needs for processing, embedding, cutting, and staining
Position Qualifications
- Minimum training/education required: Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or medical laboratory technology
- Education/training equivalent: 60 semester hours or equivalent from an accredited institution, including 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses, or 24 semester hours of science courses (6 in chemistry, 6 in biology, and 12 in any combination)
