About the role

Description Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital & Luxury Pet Resort is looking for a full-time Experienced Pet Groomer to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Frederick, MD.

Responsibilities

• Help pets look and feel their best by providing exceptional grooming care and creating a positive experience for every visit.
• Rewarding work that ranges from hands-on grooming services, including bathing, brushing, styling and breed-specific trims, to supporting pet comfort, safety, and wellness throughout every appointment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of professional pet grooming experience required, including breed-specific cuts, clipping techniques, hand-scissoring, and coat maintenance for a variety of coat types.
• Strong knowledge of pet behavior and safe handling practices required, Fear Free Certification or experience strongly preferred.
• Superior/advanced attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Possesses a positive work attitude.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.

Qualifications
